Affiliate referrals & earnings

Understand link and code attribution, qualifying subscriptions and commission status.

On this page

One creator, two ways to refer

Your referral link and companion code identify the same affiliate. The link offers visitors a separate choice to remember the referral for seven days from the first visit. Analytics consent does not create a referral cookie.

A customer can enter your code in checkout instead. If they do not already have an active attribution, a valid code starts an account referral window. An existing first-touch referral takes priority; a later link or code does not replace it or extend its expiry. Customers can remove a code before entering another one.

A signup is not a paid referral

Visit counts represent consented referrals, not every person who opens a link. Signup counts represent newly verified accounts created after a remembered link visit. Existing accounts using a code do not become new signups.

A commission requires a qualifying successful subscription payment within the attribution window. Starting or abandoning checkout does not qualify. Only one qualifying subscription per customer earns commission across their teams. Referring yourself is not allowed.

Read your customer offer

Your approved terms determine whether referred customers receive a discount and how long it applies. Monthly offers apply for the stated number of months. Annual offers discount the first annual payment only, then regular annual pricing resumes. Annual discounts apply to the published annual price, which already includes two months free value.

Affiliate discounts, sitewide sales, personal offers and coupon discounts do not stack. Checkout shows the offer or code in use and the actual total before payment. Do not advertise an annual discount or additional savings that your approved terms do not provide.

Follow pending, available and paid earnings

Commissions use verified collected USD subscription revenue after discounts and excluding taxes. Your accepted terms set separate monthly and annual rates and the first number of qualifying payments covered. One annual payment means one commission on the annual transaction, with none on renewal. Legacy calendar-month agreements retain their original window and annual proration. Changes in billing interval and adjusted invoices require review.

Pending earnings are still within the hold period or need review. Available earnings have cleared the applicable hold and adjustment checks. Paid earnings represent a completed external payment recorded by LayerWorth; the dashboard does not automatically transfer money.

Refunds reduce commissions proportionally. Disputes can put earnings on hold. Adjustments after a payout can carry forward against later available earnings. Unusual invoices may need manual review rather than an estimated commission.

Privacy and support

You can see your aggregate referral counts and earnings. You cannot see referred customers’ names, email addresses, cards or private team records.

Agree the payout method and any necessary onboarding with LayerWorth before expecting a transfer. For questions about a missing referral or ledger entry, contact support@layerworth.com with your account ID and relevant date. Never ask a customer for card details or credentials.

Download payout statements

After a completed payout is recorded, find it under Payout statements in your affiliate dashboard. Download its CSV statement for your records. It includes the recorded amount, payment reference, commission lines and carried adjustments where available.

Statement lines for new payouts are frozen at recording time. Earlier payments may not have detailed snapshots. A statement records an administrator-entered payment; it does not move money or replace tax documents.
