Getting started

Get your first useful estimate, then organize repeat work.

On this page

Your first estimate

From slicer to selling price

  1. Bring your print details

Start with filament weight, including supports and waste, and total print time from your slicer.

  2. Add the work around the print

Include hands-on labor, extra components, packaging, shipping and your selling fees.

  3. Check the price and profit

Set a target margin, then test your own selling price. Free estimates need no account.

Try a quick calculation

Open the free calculator without creating an account. Choose the currency your costs use, enter material weight and spool price, print time, power usage and electricity rate. Add your labor, packaging, shipping and other component costs.

Enter a target margin to find a suggested price. Check an actual selling price to see estimated profit. Use real measurements from your slicer and bills rather than relying on example values.

Create your account

Sign up with your name, email, password and confirmation. Printing experience is optional. Marketing email is a separate optional choice. Follow the confirmation email to finish verifying your account; request a new link if it expires.

Create your first team

A team keeps one business’s subscription, people and workspaces together. Your first owned team starts on Free with you and one workspace. Working solo? The team can be just you. See Teams, members & limits for all plan allowances.

Create a workspace

A workspace keeps your printing business’s records together. Give it a recognizable name and choose its currency. Your team’s plan sets its workspace limit. Your account remembers the last workspace you viewed.

Build a repeatable workflow

Start with a quick estimate. Maker unlocks saved cost profiles, products and calculation history, plus additional plate layouts and itemized components. Save reusable assumptions so future estimates use the same costs. Always review a loaded recipe before quoting a customer.
