Saved products & history

Keep repeatable recipes separate from estimates you already made.

Choose what you want to save

Maker and above unlock saved products and calculation history. A product is a reusable pricing recipe for something you make repeatedly. A saved calculation records an estimate and the assumptions used for it.

For example, keep a desk organizer as a product for future orders, and save a named calculation for a particular batch or customer request. Use names you can recognize without opening every record.

Create a reusable product

Prepare the inputs in the workspace calculator, then use Save as a reusable product. Review its name, notes and selling price before saving. Open Products to find your saved recipes.

A product can hold a selling price you chose. Compare that price with the current estimate whenever you change quantity, material cost or print time; a stored selling price is not a guarantee of margin.

Update or make a variation

Load the product into the calculator, adjust the inputs and use Update product to keep the same recipe current. Use Duplicate product when a variation should remain a separate item.

A different size, material or finishing process can justify a separate recipe. Deleting a product does not delete its saved calculations. Review the confirmation before removing a recipe you still need.

Use calculation history

Give an estimate a useful name and save it. Calculation history lists the saved price per unit and profit per printer-hour; open a record to inspect the estimate.

Historical records retain their original currency and assumptions. Changing the workspace default or a cost profile does not convert or rewrite them. For a new order, review the inputs again rather than assuming an older estimate is still current.
